Matthew Blackburn is a Canadian pianist working in Paris, France. Matthew performs from a large repertoire of Baroque to the present day. Specializing in the piano masterworks of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, he is also an advocate of modern music and has premiered many new works. From Bach and Beethoven to Hétu and Andronikou, Matthew's performances are consistently met with enthusiastic reception.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Matthew teaches a wide range of classical music to all levels of piano learners. Matthew brings a wealth of experience to his students as well as an unparalleled joy and passion for music.
